God's plan to restore His people

4,000 B.C. - The Fall of Man / The Promise of Redemption (Gen. 3:15) 

2,086 B.C. - The Covenant with Abraham (Gen. 12:1-3) 

1,446 B.C. - Israel leaves Egypt (Exodus 12) 

1,010 B.C. - David becomes King (2 Samuel 5)

God being faithful....

  930 B.C. - Israel & Judah Divided (1 Kings 12) 

  722 B.C. - Israel exiled by Assyrian Empire (2 Kings 17) 

  607 B.C. - Judah exiled by Babylon Empire (2 Kings 24) 

  537 B.C. - First Return of Jews (Ezra 1)

God fulfilling........

 0 - Jesus is Born! 

 33 - Jesus Death, Resurrection, Ascension, Holy Spirit & Church Era 

 * Jesus Return ......Matthew 24:14!  

Truth # 1 

1. God's Providence - God working through human history to reveal His will! 

Steps Along the Path (Application)  

1. If it all starts with God, our first step toward restoration begins with passionate prayer!  

Truth # 2 

God's People - God chooses to work through His people to accomplish His will.  

1. (vs. 1) Even though the world seems like it is winning, God is still on His throne, working through His people! (Psalm 73:27-28 / John 16:33) 

2. (vs. 1) God honors those that honor Him! We honor Him by obeying His Word! (Proverbs 22:4 / John 12:26) 

3.(vs. 36-42) The Priority of God's People will always be to worship Him no matter the season of life! (Psalm 34:1-3 / Colossians 3:17) 

4. (vs. 43-54) No Matter the Position, it is an honor to be help to be a servant of God! (Joshu 9:22-27 / Psalm 84:10) 

5. (vs. 61-62) God's people will cling to His Identity! (Galatians 1:10 / 1 Peter 2:9) 

6. (vs. 63) The Church has a GREATER HIGH PRIEST!  (Hebrews 4:14-16) 

7. (vs. 68-70) God's people give to the work of the Lord! (2 Corinthians 9:6-11 / Romans 12:1)
