What does it look like to trust in Jesus? 

Matthew 11:25-30 

1. “Humble myself” 

Only those that are willing to seek help are ready to trust Jesus. 

- Romans 3:23 

2. “God is Good” 

Only those that have the right perspective about God and their sin are ready to trust Jesus. 

- Romans 6:23 

3. “Jesus is the Only Way” 

Only those that believe that Jesus is the only way to come to God and be made right are ready to trust Jesus. 

- Romans 7:24-25 

4. “I give up trying to save myself” 

Only those that trust in Jesus’ work of salvation and not their own are ready to trust Jesus. 

- Romans 8:1-2 

5. “I want Jesus to be in charge of my life”

Only those that are ready to give up control of their life are ready to trust in Jesus. 

- Romans 12:1 

Application: 

Jesus is the truth, the freedom, the satisfaction, the peace you are looking for. Are you ready to trust Him today?
