Bridge Community is a place where believers are encouraged to “GO” and love the world by being Jesus’ hands and feet. Members of our GO ministries have been  united by God with a common passion and purpose, and we'd love to have you join us. We believe that more ministries are yet to come as God continues to raise up His children to GO and serve!

Love The Least

Our mission is to educate and equip people to care for orphans here and around the world. Our team works with Pierce County DFCS to provide duffel bags packed with necessities for all area foster children and to support foster parents and DFCS workers. We also strive to raise awareness for human trafficking/slavery, fair trade, and orphan care world wide. Caring can be accomplished in many ways, and we would love to help you find a way to be involved. "Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27

Each day alone, 16,000 children die from hunger related causes.  That is 1 every 5 seconds or 15 million a year.

Orphans are the most vulnerable population on the planet.  With no one to protect them, orphans are the most likely to become victims of violence, slave trade, exploitation, drugs, child soldiers, human trafficking, starvation and other abuses.

Each day, more than 850 American children enter the foster care system.  On average, these youth spend more than two years in the child welfare system and can be moved as many as 15 times.

Each year 25,000 children in foster care age out at age 18.  Without the guidance of parents, the effects are often prostitution, homelessness, substance abuse, prison or suicide.

Today, there are approximately 147 million orphans in the world.

The Nations Team exists to help develop mission partnerships that will lead to church planting all across the globe! God has led us to adopt a people group in another country who has little to no access to the gospel. Approximately three to four times a year, Bridge will be sending teams to their village in an effort to learn more about them and their culture.  Our heart's desire is to do this by loving, serving, and developing lasting friendships with them. Our commitment is not over until we have witnessed salvations, discipled young believers, and developed a faithful body of believers who are ministering both to one another and beyond their village. We are excited to have the privilege of introducing Jesus to our people group!

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a biblically based program to help people overcome their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Our ministry is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than a psychological theory.  Everyone needs healing from our pasts. Hurts, habits, and hang-ups are part of being human, but God never wastes a hurt. He can use your experience to help others. Celebrate Recovery leaders have been right where you are. They know. They understand. If you are interested in seeing what we are all about, or know someone that might be, talk with one of our leaders.
How you can help:
- Pray for those who are experiencing addiction.
- Pray for those who are leading this ministry.

The Village of Blackshear Ministry

In May of 2012, the McIntosh Community Group was just forming.  It was our desire to reach out to those in our community who were less fortunate and in need of a special touch.  After participating in STOP HUNGER NOW, feeding others was on our hearts and minds. One Saturday morning we gathered as a group and prepared sack lunches.  While working on the lunches, God impressed upon our hearts to share with the residents of The Village of Blackshear here in our community.  As the lunches were being distributed that Saturday morning, we prayed for and with each resident.  Thus, our ministry at The Village began. This ministry not only meets the physical needs of the residents, but also a much greater one - their need to feel loved, needed, and wanted.  They need to know that Jesus loves them and that we love them.  Since May of 2012, we have built genuine relationships with many of the people there. We go the last Saturday of each month to carry sack lunches and have a bible study for the residents.  We have a bible study on the second Wednesday of each month, as well. The Village Ministry began with the purpose of being a blessing to others, but we've found that our hearts have been blessed to see what the love of Christ does in us when we offer ourselves and our gifts for the Lord to use.

Restoration Road Ministries/Hagar’s Place

Restoration Road Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry for those in need, to help bring them to a loving and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. The purpose of Restoration Road is to provide housing and/or education and training programs that bring hope, dignity and a brighter future to those who might otherwise remain trapped in poverty or despair. Restoration Road combines life skills and soft skills training, mentoring, and resourceful networking to help develop strengths and confidence in a supportive environment. While Restoration Road Ministries is the base, we will have ministry branches under this covering. Hagar’s Place is the first of these branches! With Hagar’s Place, we desire to provide a safe living environment for single mothers and their children while striving to equip them for financial independence and personal wholeness by addressing their educational, emotional and spiritual needs.  The ultimate goal is to prepare them for a stable, fulfilling lifestyle that honors God.
